The incident occurred during the third quarter of the clash between Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs, at Adelaide Oval. An offence for making careless contact with an umpire is classified as a $1500 sanction, but an early plea will enable Gray to accept a $1000 sanction. Sunday, 17 June - Geelong Cats v Richmond Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin was charged with a second offence for making careless contact with umpire Jacob Mollison. The incident occurred during the third quarter of the clash between the Cats and the Tigers, at the MCG. A second offence for making careless contact with an umpire is classified as a $2500 sanction, but an early plea will enable Martin to accept a $1500 sanction.
